Legal
Welcome to Life & Death Planner. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Life & Death Planner is an organizational tool that helps you record and share your important information and final wishes. It is a place to store and organize what you already know and decide.
The app does not provide legal, financial, tax, or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional. Recording a will, power of attorney, beneficiary, or any other matter in the app does not create, validate, or execute a legal document, and does not guarantee that your wishes will be legally enforceable. For wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and similar matters, consult a qualified attorney or advisor in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity under your account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping it current.
The app is currently free to use. If we introduce optional paid features in the future, purchases would be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and subject to their terms, with pricing shown in the app before you buy. Refunds, where available, are handled by the applicable app store under its policies.
Use the app only for your own lawful personal planning. Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with its operation.
The app, its design, and its content (other than the information you enter) belong to us. The information you enter remains yours.
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will ensure the legal validity of your documents or wishes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
